The competition are planned on May 9th and 10th, 2020 at the Swiss National Sport Center. About 70 teams are taking part into five different divisions from under 12 year old kids to the pro level.

The seven installed playgrounds are distributed among the whole sport center and three of them will be mounted outdoor.

The goal of the event is to promote floorball, particularly as a youth sport, while providing an opportunity for all the young participants to experience the exciting adventure of winning the coveted trophies and getting better at the sport they love.


UNDER 12*: 5 vs. 5 floorball indoor tournament for kids under 12 years old and girls 14 years old .

UNDER 14/17*: 5 vs. 5 floorball indoor tournament for kids under 14 years old and girls 16 years old.

UNDER 16*: 5 vs. 5 floorball indoor tournament for kids under 16 years old.

TI-OPEN MEN or MIXED: the ultimate outdoor floorball tournament. This category represents the authentic spirit of the TICINO FLOORBALL OPEN, where different skilled players met each other’s in the name of fair play and friendship. Mixed teams with up to 5 girls are allowed.

TI-OPEN WOMEN: since the beginning of the TICINO FLOORBALL OPEN era, ladies were really welcome in Tenero. The international attendance confers a somewhat of uniqueness to this amazing and fight full tournament.


TI-OPEN Men and TI-OPEN Women teams provide Referees (obligatory). No license required, but a good dose of rationality. The organizer will provide qualified referees for the playoffs.

For the elite tournament qualified referees will be provided by the organization;

Will be defined depending on team attendance after registration period closes. Normally group phase, followed by a KO phase.


The first three best classed teas per category will be awarded with prizes in kind (type of prizes are depending on the categories). The winners take the challenge cup; after three non-consecutive victories at La SAGA, the challenge cup belongs definitively to the winning team.


Every participant is taking part in the tournament on his own risk and is not generally insured by the organization. Therefore a general insurance is recommended. The organizer of La SAGA is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury of the participants during the tournament.
