The different tournament for kids (under 12, under 14 and under 16), women and men (also mix team)
The name “LA SAGA” refers to the Nordic myths that tell of mighty Viking warriors on board their “drakkars” setting off to discover new lands on which to establish their domination. Thus, the event aims to give participants the same feeling of conquest on the shores of Lake Verbano; however, fierce clashes are replaced with healthy competitive spirit and the art of war with one of the most spectacular and dynamic Nordic sports, floorball, that generates much fun and sportsmanship.
The goal of the event is to promote floorball, particularly as a youth sport, while providing an opportunity for all the young participants to experience the exciting adventure of winning the coveted trophies and getting better at the sport they love.
Divisions Under 16, Under14 and Under 12 (youth)
Following the huge success of last season, the youth tournament Under 16, Under14 and Under12 on the big field will be repeated with the participation of the best Swiss formation club teams and prestigious teams from Sweden, Finland and the Czech Republic. 45 teams will compete in three categories to win the “Coppa Grande” challenge.
Divisions Woman and Men (also mix tema) Floorball tournament (5 vs 5) played entirely outdoors in any weather
30 teams of active players from all over Switzerland and abroad will compete in the categories “Open Man” (also mixed teams at list 5 Women) and “Open Women” for the conquest of the greatly desired “challenge”, the TI-OPEN
And that is just the games… There will also be a real “floorball village” inside the sports center with dining locations, a space for exhibitors, various live events.
