La SAGA has also joined “ecosport.ch”. As a result, the project in the field of nutrition and promotion of regional products was introduced last year. All food that was prepared during the 2015 tournament, came from the region .
For the first time, a U14 team from Sweden was also in attendance. The team conducted a training camp at the Centro Sportivo Tenero, which culminated in taking part in the tournament. In the active division, a team from France was present, which is also another first in the tournament’s history, also with regards to the players’ long transfers.
In the area of sports, a significant increase in quality could be seen in the U12 teams. Many clubs have finally decided to carry out regular training for juniors under 12 years on the large field. A big compliment goes to the winner of the category whose players showed excellent technical and tactical quality. The U16 category also exhibited a very high standard at the Swiss junior level.
